  • Object Invisible for Camera, but still casting shadows??

I know in Max you can set the object to be invisible to the camera but still casting shadows after rendering.

I once read this option was on the wishlist of Vray4Sketchup... has it already been added??

If not, is there another way to simulate it???

I need it right now to render a surface which has plenty of shadows cast on it by metal beams... but I dont want those same beams to appear on the render.

But USUALLY, I need it to render a house room, in 3D, but without the roof or some wall, to show the room, but still with those same walls or roofs casting their shadows, so the interior illumination is not affected...
