  • what is two sides materials?

    hi guys
    maybe it is bad Q but this is true what is Two sides material? in face I want to make a lamp but light of lamp it is not did like i want it like this pic below


    but I got this



    i read I must use Two sides material ???
    I don't know what is it ? how is do it ?
    so how is Dynamic it ?
    I want someone explain me it :'(

    a two side material is vrays way of allowing you to create very thin materials, kind of like the lamp cover your trying to create, and i'm assuming u want to achieve a translucency effect on there as well. so when you create the two sided material for that lamp cover the material will allow the light to travel from one side of the material to the next, creating a nice and smooth glow effect. so you basically use it anytime you want to create a curtain, paper, or any sort of material that allows light to travel through...

    thats just my take on it, but here is a great tutorial by fernando witch is a perfect example of where you can use a 2sided material. hope that helps
