    Re: HDRI

I dont know if its the same in SU as in Rhino but in rhino you can zoome some by changing the lens length of the camera.

Also under environment mapping there is an option rotating the image vertical or horizontal to change the bg

      Re: HDRI

the zooming didn't work, because that way you zoom the whole picture..., I just want the background to change...
      the rotation vertically did work!

      thx

        Re: HDRI

you don't need to use the hdri as a background, just save as a png image and add another background in photoshop

          Re: HDRI

There no way how to zoom in or zoom out an HDRI directly on the environment. The only thing that you can do is change the repeat value, but you are going to see the multiples repetition of the HDRI on your reflection. The best workflow right now is what Omar said. Use an HDRI on the environment to get the reflection on your scene and place the background on PS.

the thing is. you can zoom the bg by changing the lens length. Then you zoom also the target but this you can then zoom out in the viewport without changing the bg zoom....

this is jus for small changes. Not for big zoom changes. Then you need what Fernando says.
