  • I think a bad idea in creating materials

I think I've done something that's not working. i had created and used some materials in SU (before having Vray) that looked pretty good in SU world but rendering in gray-tones in VRSU. Method: created masonry materials by creating the texture in photoshop and desaturating it. then in SU I could quickly adjust the color based on the client's whim. So I used the image as a texture and adjusted the color. That works great in SU but in Vray, the texture comes thru looking like the desaturated image/texture I created in photoshop.

Question: Is there a way to get these textures to show up correctly in VR without redoing? or do I recreate them in a different way?

we don't officially support the colorization process in SketchUp. http://forum.asgvis.com/index.php?topic=7567.0
