  • cricket cricket.... beta?

Damn, it is sure quiet on these forums. The Sketchucation forums have a little bit of a pulse but not too much. Anyway, how do I get on the beta test team for the latest VR4SU?

    Hi ValeroStudio

    For, it is a fact!
the our community has some difficulty in adapting to this new space and has remained quite active in some spaces as for example the facebook!

however it does not leave to continue for here!

We're working on getting V-Ray for Rhino up to speed. Then once both V-Ray for Rhino and V-Ray for SketchUp are both using the same plugin core, we can do simultaneous development, rather than the back and forth development we've been doing all of these years. That was the purpose of the plugin rewrite that we did for the 1.48.66 release. It allows us to fix bugs faster, add features faster, and develop both products side by side much easier.

Is there any proposed date (month or year) when a V-Ray for Rhino and V-Ray for SketchUp update will be ready for release and can you give us a hint about what features will be added.

We are working towards the goal of releasing a new version of V-Ray for Rhino this year. Once we put out that release, we will better be able to answer the question of when the next release of V-Ray for SketchUp will be. Currently V-Ray for SketchUp is a version ahead of V-Ray for Rhino, so the goal is to add the new features that were in the last release of V-Ray for SketchUp, to V-Ray for Rhino.
