  • interior lighting - need help

    I get the worst results with lamps... this was supposed to light up the scene a bit, instead it gets it all dotted and the lamps just burn out when any light is givven to the scene...

    can anybody give me some pointers scince I'm unable to fugure this out.

    yikes! are you using an emmissive material by any chance? Try using a vray light first.

        I tried emmissive material but that did not light up the scene, so this is a vray light, first thing I'd like to understand is where the disco effect comes from...

            again, do not use emissive materials for lightning sceenes. just to simulate the intensity of the lamp material. to illuminate sceenes you can uses any kind of artificial lights: rectangular lights, omni lights or ies lights.
