Vray Plugins in SU 2013

HI,

I just downloaded Su 2013 but I'm missing my Vray plugins. Pls do guide me how to get plugins in SU 2013. I'm using Imac 10.8 version. Thnx a ton in advance.

We currently don't have a way to be installed to two sketchup versions at the same time, unfortunately. So you need to reinstall our product and choose to install to the 2013 Sketchup path. If you are running our 1.60 beta it should find that path for you by default, if you are running our old 1.49 build you will need to manually change the install path to point at the proper location, which I believe is ~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2013/SketchUp.

Hi Joe,

I ve reinstall SU 2013 and Vray but the plugin is not there in the specified path. I tried to make a new folder in the application support folder but all in vein. Pls advise what can be done over here. thnx.

please contact support@chaosgroup.com to troubleshoot this issue. You may need to have someone do a remote session if you are unable to resolve your issue by following the steps Joe provided. You have not specified what version of V-Ray for SketchUp you are attempting to install, but please be sure to try the public stable release ( version 1.49.01 ), if you have not done so already. Our support staff is very knowledgable about the current stable release, but the 1.6 beta may have unknown issues that they may not be prepared to handle. So for troubleshooting this issue with our support team, please be sure to use the public stable release, 1.49.01.

Is there any update on Vray for Sketchup 2013?
We've had to update some of the workstations in the office with SU 2013, but now Vray 1.49.01 won't work and we are getting file compatibility issues.

from what I have read around here the 1.6 version should have been released by now as it's quite a while since the beta started. I hope it's going ok with the testers.

The beta testing for V-Ray for SketchUp 1.6 has ended. We are just working on some final details, stay tuned for newsletters and announcements. When we have a final release date, we will let everyone know.
