  • V-Ray 2.0 for SketchUp 2014?

    Hey guys

as you are probably aware, SketchUp folks are real busy preparing SU 2014 for release... I was wondering if V-Ray for SketchUp 'as is' will work on SU2014, or are you going to release an update? And also, can either route be tested?

    greetings
    Martha

I've definitely seen it in the nightlies, so I am sure the Chaos boys are on it.

We attended the SketchUp developer conference in Portugal last year, so we could sync up with the Trimble team and prepare for the 2014 release. The upcomming patch will address 2014 support in addition to functionality and stability items.

Ok, I wanted to download the update for Sketchup 2014, but on the website I can only download a demo version? Where can we download the latest build/update for licensed users? I didn't get an email or something...

If you're using VRAY, forget about using it with 2014 version. Been there. Done that. Vray says it's not compatible (yet)

I'm using V-Ray in combination with SU2014 with succes although there is one bug that should be resolved in the latest build that is available as a demo download but not as a full product download.
              That seems strange...

please contact support@chaosgroup.com to have your account permissions fixed. If you are only seeing the demo version, and you are a licensed 2.0 user, you should have access to the service release. The service release has been released, and now supports SketchUp 2014: http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/news....=573#newsid573

As I replied in another thread, I logged in using my private e-mail address instead of my business address (which uses the license)... So problem solved Well for me at least..

I just installed SU 2014. I tried earlier to reinstall the Vray plus and accidentally installed the demo version. Uninstalled the demo and reinstalled the full version. I'm getting this message. I haven't removed SU2013 yet. Could that be the problem? I'm on a deadline and I'm afraid to mess around with SU 2013 until I know I can render in SU 2014.
