  • [Screenshot Attached] V-Ray for SketchUp +SP1: VFB rendering wrong scene

    Hi All,

I got confused why does a new fresh SKP model has VFB rendering a model which have been closed earlier?

    Anyone experienced this phenomena?

    Thanks!

That is bizarre, I haven't seen this issue before. Could you walk me through your exact steps ( how you are opening files, when you are clicking render, etc ). Also, could you open your Ruby console and see if anything prints out in there when you are changing between files? You can open the Ruby console by going to the menu and clicking on Window->Ruby console. Does this always happen to you or is it only certain models?

I am not sure how this would happen, as we do not hold onto geometry between files, so for whatever reason it seems like we are still parsing your previous file somehow.

I'm not sure, I'll ask my client for that matter.

Yes. I've experienced this weird render as recently as today. Do you have another SU document open behind the one you're working on? If so... close it. If it doesn't go away, restart SU.

No SU document was open in background. It's like V-Ray Vfb had cached it and didn't purge.
          Thanks

any errors in the error log? Is this something that can be reproduced reliably? Can it be reproduced with the ruby console open? If so, please try to reproduce the issue with the ruby console open, there are some errors that may only show up in that console.

If that issue persists I'll try to manually reproduce with monitoring.
              Thanks Devin
