Sketchup 2015

Is there official support for Sketchup 2015? Will there be a new exe or is it the 2014-release that should be installed?

The plugin architecture is different because of the switch to 64bit. I tried installing it in 2015 but got an error (this was on a Mac btw), same goes for windows I guess. I hope they will release an update soon!
So no official support for 2015 I guess.

Does someone know when will be released V-ray for SU-2015? Trimble doesn't sell SU-2014 licenses anymore... I need a new V-ray release ASAP (I mean NOW).

I chat with Chaos yesterday and they don't know when will release an update for the Sketchup 2015, but it coming.

I got this reply from Chaosgroup support the other day.

"The current version of V-Ray for SketchUp does not officially support SketchUp 2015. We are in the final testing phases of an update which will include support for this version including a 64bit version of V-Ray for SketchUp to match the new 64bit version of SketchUp. Although we could not say for sure when the update will be available we are doing everything we can to both make it available as fast as possible and make sure it's working. This free update will be available for current V-Ray 2.0 for SketchUp artists. Educational customers, please email sales.software@chaosgroup.com for update information.

For now the best solution for you as a customer is to continue working with SketchUp 2014 for all V-Ray related models. We can not guarantee that scenes that have been worked on in SketchUp 2015 will still work if opened with V-Ray and SketchUp 2014. "

Hi Guys:

I tested already in Sketchup Pro 2015 OS X and won't work. Chaos need to speed in the update, It should be done already since the developers like Chaos always get the alpha first before the customers so they have some time to work and create accurate updates... I hope they have some deadline soon. Many people want to work in the s015, is really fast...
