Rendering with Keyframe Animations

Hello,

Does anyone know whether you are able to render an animation that has been created with "Keyframe Animations". I create my scenes and then record the different positions but when I come to render it, it only renders the scenes and not the keyframe animations!

Any guidance will be very appreciated.

Hi Fred,

Sorry to say, but we don't currently support Keyframe animation in our products. That said, we strive to support as many 3rd party plugins as we can and it doesn't mean we may not support it sometime in the future.

Hi, thanks for replying. Is there a plugin that you do support? I want to render a turning screw thread.

Not at this time unfortunately. I will make it a point to look into animation plugins and see what support we can provide in the future. I'm sorry I don't have a better response for you at the moment.

it's 2020, wonder if vray can render keyframe animation created scenes now?

I'm afraid not, however, Fredo Animator could be used just fine. We will definitely let you know if we add additional support for other animation plugins.

I've tried Fredo Animator, somehow Fredo and Vray does not render my scene correctly, kindly see attached. it seems the rendered view is like 10 feet away from my original view. I contacted Fredo, he suggested (see attached convo screenshot) to check zooming or framing view setting in Vray, not sure Vray has such settings that will overwrite my view.
