    At this time, V-Ray 2 for SketchUp is not currently compatible with SketchUp 2017. We would recommend you try the new, publicly available, V-Ray 3 for SketchUp which does support SketchUp 2017. You can join the beta here: www.chaosgroup.com/vray/sketchup

        Hi Ted, I ask Corey when will be a version compatible with 2017? I am a beta tester and I know it works on sketchy 2017 but is not ready to lunch they have too many bugs for a stable production. When do you plan to have the 3.0 ready or a compatible 2.1 maybe with 2017 Sketchup?

        Thanks.
        The best that I can do is keep learning, and the Renderings are just a small step to get real.

          Thanks for your question. We should have a 2017 compatible version very soon, though I can't comment on an exact timeline for it.

            Just following up again if and when VRay for Sketchup v2.X will be available for SketchUp Pro 2017.

            We are planning our SketchUp Pro 2017 rollout in our company ... and are hoping to have VRay for SketchUp 2.0 included as well (if not, most users will need to stay back with 2016).

            Thanks!

              Hi,
              I was wondering if it would be possible to install the beta (or full, when released) 3.0 on sketchup 2017 while keeping 2.0 active on sketchup 2016?
              As I've tested the beta for a while, I noticed that the new approach is so very different that it would obstruct workflow on daily bases at first, I would need some time to "adjust and learn" before using 3.0 for professional work. (clients won't be happy to pay me extra hours just because I don't know my new software well enough...)

              Sincere greetings,
              Sigrid

                  We released V-Ray 3 earlier this week which supports SketchUp 2017.

                    You did, but you removed the ability to DR without paying for it. I have PM'd you as per the Announcement thread.

                    We would probably prefer to stay with V2.0 as it allows us to cost effectively use DR and based on Teds response above;

                    We have already updated to SU2017Pro.
