V-Ray Swarm

Installed SketchUp Pro 2017, V-Ray for SketchUp 3.4 and V-Ray Swarm on multiple machines.

Finding that when checking the Swarm on each computer via -- http://localhost:24267

Version number is not being detected ... and its not seeing V-Ray for SketchUp 3.4 is installed.

Attempting to use these machines as a swarm fails (not distributing render).

Wondering on how to resolve this.

I don't know if I understood you correctly, but I suppose your issue is that you basically can't see other swarm nodes on the workstation where you want to render? And you also don't see other nodes on other computers? Well, I have the same problem. I sometimes manage to solve this by switching between Auto-discovery and manual input of IP address of master render node in Configuration page. That IP address can be found on your master node in Network and Sharing center. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, I usually have to switch 2-3 times to get it to work. But sometimes one of the nodes doesn't do anything, no matter what I try. I usually spend 1-2 hours every day troubleshooting Swarm.

Please note that V-Ray build is uploaded to each Swarm machine, when you run a render with Swarm enabled from Sketchup.

In order to investigate the issue further, please send us the output of V-Ray messages form V-Ray for Sketchup as well as vray-swarm.log from one of the render node machines right after the render.
