New new 3.40.04 updated Aug 1?

Is that a glitch or an actual new release? Seen on downloads section this morning, though the changlog that comes with the file and is accessible rom the site lists it as 3.40.03.

Haven't run a checksum on the files to see any changes, just assuming its a faulty release for now

Not a faulty release.
The 3.40.04 build was recompiled in a slightly different way to prevent an issue with very specific circumstances from occurring ever again.
The contents of the installer remain untouched.

Absolutely correct. If you've had no trouble installing and running v3.40.04 before, the updated installer is of no use to you.
