Thanks for coming back to me. I can see the proxy options to be able to view it in different aspects but not an option to be able to turn off the proxy! Can you actually turn off proxies? Thanks for your help.
Use sketchup layer panel.. Create new layer, name it proxies for example, move your proxies to the proxies layer by choosing all of them and changing the layer from entity info.. Whenever you want, uncheck the layer and they are not visible..
Theoretically, you can set the Proxy preview type to Full Mesh which will generate an object identical to the geometry of the .vrmesh or .abc file that you've loaded. You can then explode the Proxy component and regroup all faces into a new component. This, however, is not advisable - instead, consider the proxies as non-editable and use them only when you're certain the geometry they contain is fully finished.
Once created, VRayProxy files are not editable in V-Ray for SketchUp. To make changes you would need to edit the original object and export a new VRayProxy file instead.
Kind regards,
Peter
