Every time I try to render using GPU, it crashes. Anyone else having this problem? Main workstation has a GeForce GTX 650. I also have an additional node with a GeForce GTX 970. The workstation shows up in my swarm, the node does not. Am I able to utilize both? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does the crash occur with specific project or any (even newly created ones)? Does the crash occur immediately when initiating the render job or after some time? Do you get any error messages in the V-Ray Progress window? Could you please monitor the memory usage as well?
Additionally, could you please advise what is the full version number of the GPU drivers?

I have had issues in the past and I agree that driver updates have seemed to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the driver update broke my other engine (Thea). Would like to go full GPU hybrid but no material ID is a deal breaker in that department.
Are we we going to have Material ID with GPU in the next release?Matthew Valero, ASAI

Yeah, I had issues with other programs once I updated the driver. I ended up rolling it back and have basically given up on the idea of hybrid rendering for now. I'm still unsure about how the GPU affects the license of the additional node I have. For now images are rendering just as fast with both CPUs running vs. the CPU+GPU. It would be nice if I could utilize both on both computers. I'm not sure if it's possible or if I'm just missing something.

Alternatively, you can use the Multi-Matte render element, which is supported on GPU.
Setting up the Object IDs which this render element utilizes can be done either manually through the Properties' V-Ray tab for single or multiple objects, or by using V-Ray > Tools > Randomize Object IDs. The Asset Editor's Material context menu entry "Select Objects in Scene" also comes in handy in such situations.
Kind regards,

Red333 Regarding the render nodes performance, could you please provide some additional information?
- Please provide a copy of the V-Ray Progress log?
- The latest V-Ray Swarm log from the render nodes would be required for our investigation as well. You can access them through the web-browser - [IP address]:24267/log
- Screenshot/s of the full http://localhost:24267/configuration page
- What is the render node machine's GPU model and full version number of the drivers?
You could send us the information at support@chaosgroup.com or via private forum message to me.
