Bump in Clay Mode

Can we get possible a way to show bump maps when rendering in material override (clay) mode?

Yes! And displacement as well...

This is doable for displacement in the next major release we are preparing. Adding bump maps will be a lot trickier, but our dev team will look into it.
I've logged your suggestion, and although I expect it for the next major release, I cannot specify whether it will be included in the initial release timetable or as part of one of the future builds.
