  • Animation Frame Rate Setting

Am I missing something or is there no place to set the frame rate of an animation rendered w VR4SU?

Frame rate is set to 30 fps. You can control animation length through SketchUp's View > Animation > Settings > Scene Transitions.
Alternatively, you can edit a .vropt file's frames_scale parameter but multiplying the animation length to acquire the desired number of frames is a much simpler method.

    Kind regards,

Will we have more flexibility in this area in the next release? At least a way to modify the framerate would be desirable.

There are no plans to expose more parameters for now, although I'll mark it for internal discussion.

What is the frame rate you most commonly use?
Could you provide any scenario where you need to adjust FPS while keeping the same SketchUp transition length?

Only thing I can think of is 25 for PAL, 24 which is movie standard, and lower values like 1 or 15 for testing and setting Light Cache.
