Convert to 2-sided one click

I would like to see a way to take a standard material and turn it into a 2sided material automatically. The issue that I have quite often is with imported models like plants. There is not an easy way to turn mapped leaves into 2-sided materials in SketchUp without losing the mapping. It would be nice to be able to right-click a material and just turn it into a simple 2-sided material.

Since V-Ray Next for SketchUp, update 2 there is a very elegant way to achieve that.
Just add Translucency attributes to any material.
