I don;t very often use the time stamp as it only tells you what your running. What would be useful is if it told you what you exposure and white balance was. I end up with scenes where I'm having to tweak things depending on how far I am away from natural light. Being able to look at a test and see what I had set up would be rather useful, at least for me.

I can imagine it's even more useful if it's just embedded in the EXIF data of the rendered files so even without a stamp you could check it's camera's settings.
