Will there be a major update for su2025?

There are significant changes in SU2025, especially in aspects like materials and HDR. Will SketchUp's HDR be synchronized with VFS? Besides, will SketchUp's advanced PBR materials be synchronized with V-Ray for SketchUp, or will it remain the same as before, being synchronized with Enscape and converted by clicking a button? Will there be major changes in operations and APIs?

Hi wu_xiaolong,

We will do our best to support the new PBR materials as well as the IBL environment in SU 2025.
Rendering the new material properties is the most straightforward thing we'll start with.
Converting a SU material to a V-Ray one will also be handled, preserving the material appearance.

The interaction between Enscape and the SU PBR properties is another topic which we still haven't figured out.
We can make it so that if Enscape material attributes or keywords exist we respect them, otherwise the PBR properties from SketchUp would be used.
Note that at one point parameter synchronisation will also be done on the Enscape side which has the potential to simplify the logic.
