Thanks to the suggestions of cosmos, it adopts a somewhat complicated technique which is to import and transform an object into a proxy and then export the proxy into VRMAT. At this point, the imported VRmat already includes the materials, but it seems like a somewhat complicated path to me.

I would like the vrmesh proxy files imported into sketchup to contain the materials already attached, like the Cosmos files, without having to match the materials one by one.

Hi,
The vrmesh file itself doesn't store materials, it only contains the material assignment slots.
If you already have a proxy with material assignments in the scene you can select it in the outliner and save it to a .vrmat.
This can also be done via the left fly-off panel, after loading a local library folder in the library list and then dragging the Proxy Mesh asset from the Outliner to the library.
The vrmat will store all the materials and will bring them back in on import.
Hope that helps,
Konstantin
