  • ambient occlusion

v-ray for sketchup is great!! but is there a plan to include an ambient occlusion function or a dirty material in the new release?

as you can see in the image, an ambient occlusion is somethign it will add much realism to my the render, i play with the second engine settings but its not the same, as you can see the corners of the bridge are too clean.

      Re: ambient occlusion

The ambient occlusion shader, known as V-Ray Dirt, will not be in the upcoming service release. It will be in the next full release though.

As far as the example you posted, I'm not sure what you're trying to express with that image in terms of AO. Here are some examples of what the Vray Dirt Shader can do.
