  • Activation/Deactivation of the vRay Plugin

As it was mentioned in a previous post (http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=c...0&topic=3876.0), a way of deactivating the vRay plugin/license-grab is necessary if you expect it to be bought by firms.

I work for a large firm that is trying out the plugin right now but have no way to roll it out to users if every copy of SketchUp grabs the license even when it's not using it. We love the plugin but it doesn't make sense to have floating licenses if you use vRay 20% of the time, SketchUp 100% of the time (and therefore the license 100% of the time).

Do you know how soon you might have this resolved?

    has this been fixed yet?
we are in exactly the same situation.

we need v-ray for sketch up to work the similar to the way it does in 3ds max and rhino i.e. its only loaded when needed.

    cheers
