  • continue old renders?

    I would like to know there is any way to stop the render and continue again where i left? thanks.

        It certainly wouldn't be a bad thing, but compared to Vue and Maxwell (which do support pause and restart rendering) I've found a well-optimised V-Ray setting is so much faster (I once calculated the equivalent Maxwell render would take over 600 times longer than V-Ray!) that I very rarely feel the need to pause and restart a render. A 1400 x 800px interior daylit image with lots of chrome, etc renders in around 30 minutes on my 3-yr-old Centrino Duo laptop so it's very seldom indeed that I'm rendering a single image for more than a couple of hours. If I need to render animations I just split them into segments by including or excluding consecutive SU scenes from the animation and render each segment overnight.

        Very fanboy sounding I know, but I think it's a good example where the benefits of one feature of a program counteract it's shortcomings elsewhere.
