  • Distributed Rendering for Animations

I love the distributed rendering feature, but it would be super-duper awesome if it worked for animations and flythroughs. Whenever I use DR to animate a movie, the DR Spawner will only let the slave computers render the very first frame of the movie, then the host computer is on its own.

If you could get the DR Spawner to work for every frame of the animation, that would be sweet.
    I am currently using V-Ray 1.49.01.

    Re: Distributed Rendering for Animations

On our end, we've tried absolutely everything and have had no success with it. Hopefully with the changes to the VfSU Core, this will open up a number of different possibilities in regards to DR. There is a work around here on the forum, though (although I haven't gotten around to trying it)...I'll have to dig around to find it.
