New Material Studio?

I'd really love to see a new version of Material Studio. If I've got materials to develop, I don't see why I should have to be constrained to something running (somewhat pokely) under Sketchup. With the standalone editor, the program ought to be able to make better use of your hardware, and be much more responsive.
