I have used Zorro in the past but it is buggy. Always crashes complex models.

you should try Zorro2 - you can right click on a section cut plane and slice the model at the section.

I use this all the time and works fine, even with complex models. Just save a copy of your model. You can use section cut face (before Zorro) to cover the hollow parts.

I am using Zorro2 and I keep getting Bugsplat. Its a model exported from Revit so the thing is a beast.
