That V-Ray for SketchUp would have an interface for linking the same map to different items; for example, if I use a bitmap file, black and white, of bricks and mortar, and I link this image to the bump or displacement of a material, as well as to the reflection - via the "white" slot of a noisemap. Now if I want to use a different image instead of the one I used, I need to click a total of somewhere about 10 times to change the path in every location where I use it. Also, if I want to re-link the original image, it starts all over again.
Opposite this sits the V-Ray for max slate editor where it's as simple as swapping out one image for another within a bitmap map which is linked in a pretty diagram. I wish to have something like that in V-Ray for SketchUp.
