Rental license?

With the 'rental' option, if you don't renew, do you simply lose access to subsequent versions of V-ray for Unreal but keep your current one? Like what Itoo software do with their licensing.
Or do you lose access to your current installed version as well, as with Autodesk/Adobe/Satan?

"Rental" is practically a term license, so if it's expired you won't be able to use any V-Ray version.
