  • Using editor scripting to start a V-Ray rendering

    Hello,

is it possible to use the unreal engines editor scripting to start a V-Ray rendering and by extension being able to start a render with a HTTP request using the Web Remote Control API.
So basically I'd like the "V-Ray" button in the menu bar above the viewport to be "pressed" when I make a http request for it.
Is the function to start a V-Ray rendering in any way exposed or exposable to blueprint or c++ so I could call it from editor blueprints?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Caesar,

Currently what you are asking is not possible but it is in our To Do list. We have it logged in and I will inform you when that feature becomes available.

    Best regards,

This is high priority for us now, as we'd like to automate rendering with vray in unreal engine.
