  • Baking in VRay and transitioning to Unreal 5.1

    Hi Everyone
    I am thinking if this workflow is something that can be done?
    I would like to bake the lighting in VRay and after that convert the scene to Unreal Engine 5.1. For that I need to turn off the VRay plugin and delete all the VRay lights, right? What about the materials, will that work?

    Hi Oleg,

    The conversion will not work as you expect because you need the V-Ray for Unreal plugin enabled to view imported assets such as materials, meshes, created levels when the plugin was enabled.
