  • C4d Vray textures seamless import to Unreal via cineware

Recently Redshift has made it possible to import the native Redshift textures from c4d into Unreal by simply saving out the c4d cineware files. Will the Vray C4d have a similar way to import C4D VRAY textures into Unreal. I know there is the traditional process of baking down the textures already but this kind of seamlessness between c4d and Unreal is a real time saver. Or does this already exist and I am not aware of it? thanks for any advice or plans for the future on this topic -regarding importing C4d scenes into Unreal engine.

    Hey xpez ,
We could do such an implementation in the future but from what we know Cineware should also support transferring V-Ray materials as well which is up to Maxon to be done. We'll do some research and update the thread when there is more information about this topic.
