I know that this problem seems to be an UNREAL related question. But so far, I didn't get any logical answer from anyone over at the Unreal Team.
I was hoping, I could use the Vray Materials as well directly in the Unreal Raytracer.
But what ever I try or do.. the refraction doesn't seem to work.
Here is a 4k short video that demonstrates that fundamental issue:

another question that still was not resolved:
*) do you need a "Shell" on the geomtry to make the glass shader work in the unreal raytracer?
I know we need that for the Vray Shader and when using Vray of course inside of Unreal... but when setting up a level, I would like to have both engines covered.
I love the fact, that I can use Vray inside of Unreal, to knock out super high end stills.
But I also love the fact, that I can use Unreal for interactive stuff, and of course Real Time Game Play Features.
Curious about your thoughts on this!
Thanks a lot and keep rocking!
cheers!
