  • Render to Texture Gamma

    Hi

    I'm using the Render to Texture in max but rendering it with vray GPU. When it renders it looks as it should but when I open the saved file, it's overblown. I can reduce the exposure in post but shouldn't have to do that.

    I've tried multiple approaches to this but no joy.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello! Thank you for the scene. It looks like ''Apply color mapping '' option in Render-to-texture dialog is not considered in V-Ray GPU and that's why the exposure from VRayPhysicalCamera is not taken into account into the saved image. I've logged it in our bug-tracking system under VMAX-9334 and I'll update the thread once we have any news.
