  • Does GPU engine support filter blur?

Hi! Does GPU engine support filter blur? I'm trying to blur a little bit my bump map in image file corrections section but no effect applied. It probably works only in CPU mode. Is it so? I didn't find any information about such a limitation on this page https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...orted+Features

    Hi,

Thank you for bringing this up!
I can confirm that Indeed Filter blur is not supported on the GPU render engine. Note that the documentation will be updated shortly.

Please note that the docs page has been updated.
Additionally, please double check the link you have provided because it leads to V-Ray 3.6 documentation page and by the appearance of your asset editor I assume you are using V-Ray Next.
Here is a link to Supported Features for V-Ray Next for SketchUp: https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...orted+Features

Yes, I'm using V-Ray Next, last actual version. Thanks for the link. By the way is there any information about how long to wait for the new update with RT cores support on V-Ray for Sketchup?

RT cores support will most likely be introduced with V-Ray Next for SketchUp update 2 but I can not give you any specific time frame when the update will be released.
