  • Wall Flood Light

I'm beginning with a 40' tall wall. I wish to add a strip LED light that will run up one side of the wall, and backlight some black metal shapes. I want the light on the wall to attenuate across the wall. However, I can't seem to create/control this light. I finally had to resort to creating a self-illuminating plane parallel to the face of the wall and 1" away from the wall. Then, I used a gradient to control the transparency of this "light plane." Any suggestions on how to create a wall flood light as I'm describing? Thanks, in advance.

try a vray plane light and adjust the direction from the default of 0.0, to something like 0.7 or 0.8

    Kind Regards,
