My understanding is, there is an adapter that simply plugs into the motherboard that gets you more 8-pin connectors. The power is there, but I need the adaptor. My fear is buying the wrong part and shorting something out. I emailed another local computer shop, so I'll see if I get a reply from this one. The external eGPU with the PCIe extender sounds like a viable solution. I'll see what cards come out next and maybe I'll buy a couple and drop it in an eGPU enclosure.

there is an adapter that simply plugs into the motherboard that gets you more 8-pin connectors
The adapter has to plug into the power supply and provide the needed 8 pin connectors.. (it doesn't make sense that it connects to the board)
the power supply itself, if modular.. you will see that it has spots for more 8-pin cables
See the spots at the back here, it should look the same

I will take a closer look tonight and see what power exactly the T7910 has

DELL uses a proprietary unit and I don't see anything like that. My board can have three full-height and full-width cards, however, there are only 2-8 pin power adaptors. Titan needs two. This is my MB

DELL assures me that I can have more 8-pin power adaptors, so they plug in somewhere.

            Thanks!
After some research, it looks like they only have 2 8-pin cables for a reason. This seems to be what is efficient for the 1300 Watts power supply, which is fair enough considering your 2 CPUs

So my recommendation and the easiest way to get something working. Get this power supply,
            https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-Supernov...s%2C279&sr=8-2

            Then get this tool,
            https://www.amazon.com/24-Pin-PSU-Ju...ower+of+tester
You will plug it into the 24 pin cable, the widest cable that comes from the power supply (all what it does is tell the power supply that your computer is awake)

Now you have an infinite supply of 8 pin cables, could do 3 cards if needs be

                    Yes, it will
could put it to the side of the case..

If you want a cleaner look, then an enclosure for the GPUs/PSU.. which will cost a bit more and take a bit of space.

Sound interesting. Do you have an example link for an enclosure which allow to install two GPU and connect per PCIe?

My understanding is you'll lose 30% unless you have a scsi card.
