Hi,
I've heard that Nvidia are now enabling Resizable BAR on their RTX GPUs. I was wondering if this will bring any speed improvements for Vray GPU.
Allegedly this feature allows for much faster CPU access to the whole amount of the GPU's memory by bypassing the system's RAM & I/O and instead directly accessing the GPU's VRAM. One of the things that I never liked in Vray GPU is that with larger scenes you wait a bit too long for the scene to be prepared and transferred to the GPU before it even starts rendering. So could this feature maybe speed up this process? What about out of core rendering? Would this make it even more viable?
