  • Why is there not the same Image sampler Menue in GPU as in CPU rendering mode

    Hey there,
I m pretty new to GPU rendering and I m wondering, why there are different or less Options in Vray GPU Mode than in the CPU mode.
As my gpu renderings arent as "Noisefree" as my older CPU ones, I m just a bit confused how to achieve the "Same" quality.
Usually I controlled my AA settings via Image Sampler and this seems not to be as achievable as before.
    Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance

    My system:
    AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX
    64gig ram
    X399 Designare EX-CF
    Nvidia 3090

I find V-Ray GPU producing more noise than CPU when using same noise threshold.
0.010 in CPU would be equivalent to 0.007 / 0.008 in GPU mode.

Also make sure your max subdivs are much higher when rendering with GPU, I usually go 70-100.

In some of our archviz interior scenes RTX 3090 is 2x or even 3x faster than 2990wx.
