  • Mixing GPU cards okay?

Is it okay to use a 2080Ti for viewport and a 3090 for Backburner? Also, if using dual 3080's linked, is it still a limit of 10GB for a scene? Trying to decide which route to go... Dual 3090's would be an option too, but wouldn't that be overkill for a viewport?

    Thanks.

Utilizing different GPUs is perfectly fine. I think only the NVidia RTX 3090 graphic cards have NVlink support. You can utilize a shared memory pool with an NVlink bridge, though some information needs to be duplicated on both GPUs. See this article for more info.
