  • Is my AMD Radeon Pro 5500M GPU supported in VRay for Sketchup?

I have a AMD Radeon Pro 5500M and an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 on a 2019 MacBook Pro

When using Cuda my renders get really slow and there is no GPU listed. Is it unsupported?

    Thanks,

    Maarten

Hey maarten_vis and welcome to the forums

V-Ray GPU doesn't run on AMD GPUs at the moment, running Cuda it only uses your CPU in your case.
We don't have plans for supporting AMD GPUs at the moment, we dropped OpenCL support during V-Ray Next cycle. AMD stopped investing in OpenCL and many software/hardware vendors deprecated their support including Apple.
V-Ray GPU makes use of dedicated ray-tracing hardware in the latest Turing and Ampere GPUs, you can find system requirements here
One option is Chaos Cloud which supports GPU rendering now, you can set your scene up on your Macbook in SketchUP. Then render on the cloud on GPUs
