  • Will there be benefit of using 2 different GPUs ?

    Hello
    I have 2 GPUs :
    Quadro P2000 5GB GDDR5
    RTX 3060ti
Will I get any speed benefit if I will be using both of them? I know that the memory pool will not be joined and the smallest will be used (5GB), but what about GPU speed, will that be joined?
    Thanks

Hi, thanks for posting. The Quadro P2000 does not support RTX. You will have to use CUDA and I am not sure if it will beneficial. RTX is faster and two GPUs is faster. But which of the two scenarios will be best it is hard to say. Also the RTX 3060ti has what, 16GB memory? It is a big difference.

Quadro for running displays and 3060 just for rendering. Massive difference from putting everything through one 3060.

        Thank you for the replies.
Looks like to be on the safe side it is better to follow the second advice - P2000 as display and 3060ti for rendering.
        Thanks!
