Vray GPU / Adobe After effect / Driver question

Hi there,

I'm a bit stuck between two types of drivers for our workstations.

On the one hand, Chaos Group recommends version 526.98 for the stability and performance of the Vray GPU that we use daily.
On the other hand, Adobe recommends the latest version of Nvidia drivers 528.49 because otherwise After Effect has big problems with the playback of H264 avc1 (basically the frames glitch by turning green). After Effect is also a software that we use daily.

It seems to me impossible to use After Effect without upgrading the drivers. I have the impression that using Vray GPU with unverified drivers seems to be the lesser evil.

If you are ever in this situation please let me know, we will review and verify this driver per request.
I have been using 528.49 for couple of days now, it seems fine. Give it a few more days I will give the green line on recommending this driver

That being said, updating to each new version of drivers is not recommended. Only update when you need to

Thanks for your advices Muhammed_Hamed , as always.

We did a few tests with the 528.49 and so far, everything looks fine.
Of course, we upgrade the drivers only when we need to, or on Chaos advice.
