I do have EVGA 3090 and now considering adding nvidia FE 4090. Will this setup perform without an issue or it is better to have the same two cards?

Hi, thanks for posting. V-Ray will work with this combination with no issues. Whether the performance will suffer is really more of a hardware question. Regarding the issue of different model video cards, V-Ray will behave no different than any other application that forces heavy loads on the GPUs.
The important thing is your video memory. If you have a device with smaller capacity of VRAM, this will be the limit that the whole system uses. So your larger VRAM on your other device will not be used fully.
