  • GPU Render Devices Select - Proper Usage

For a 2-card setup, what is the preferred approach for sending jobs to Backburner, plus using IPR for scene setup at the same time? I have tried having both boxes checked, but sometimes the UI is a bit laggy, especially when launching IPR on a new scene. Alternatively, I will leave the "non-asterisk" card selected when I send a job to backburner, but then select only the asterisk card when working with IPR, assuming that Backburner is using the other card in the background. Which is correct? I have a dual 3090 rig. Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for posting. You are building a Backburner cue that runs while you work in IPR on the same PC is that your setup?
Choosing the first 3090 card when sending a scene to Backburner and then the second 3090 before starting IPR with V-Ray GPU should work. Please try that and let us know how it goes.
