That's the point. Vantage is a real time raytracer. Not like UE, ENSCAPE, Lumen, or Twinmotion. Which do some cheating. Chaos Vantage leverages ray tracing for a high level of photorealism, but it also incorporates features like denoisers and adaptive sampling to optimize speed and quality. Which throws it into the biased category. Similar to when using Vray cpu version. You can either use brute force for both primary and secondary engines or light cache to speed things up.

This project has been strange. I sold it in November of 2024, which was brilliant because the end of the year and the first of the year are some of the slowest for me, and this one job would have been perfect! The designs kept changing, and I didn't get finals until March, one of the busiest times of the year, and I was already booked solid.

The information they sent was incomplete. It included low-resolution material examples and a ton of thumbnails of light and plumbing fixtures without dimensions, names, or manufacturers. Try Google image search a fixture to find a dozen rebrands and hours of searching for the actual manufacturer and the specs.

The landscape plans included dozens of species, and all of the houses used different plants/trees. After building everything, they said the landscape plans were made up, and the plants were not correct; they would never use those plants.

I sold the job per room, and after they gave me their camera views, they wanted such expansive views to show extra room (cheating to get rooms for free) that it looked terrible. They commented on why the walls were at an angle.

After an hour of a Zoom meeting today, they conceded and told me to do what I had to do to make the images work. They seem to understand the obstacles they put in the way. The sales team gave me the brief, and the marketing team told me to do my thing.

Lol... so, regarding low images. I get that all the time from designer at my firm. Small swatches of terrazzo, a repeatable fabric but it's 72dpi. So I've been using topaz gigapixel 8. It has sped up my workflow. I upsample the bitmaps to 2-4k, then bring it into PS and offset to create my seamless texture.

It has sped up my workflow. I upsample the bitmaps to 2-4k, then bring it into PS and offset to create my seamless texture.

yeah. not to uncommon. I also use Topaz to upscale, but these people will have tile color without any tile pattern. I used the patten on the CAD elevation and they said that the pattern was generic. I am just venting, I know, but it gets frustrating when you get angry emails on why we are in May and the images are not done when I said that they would be done the first of the year. Like, really! I got your draings after the scheduled deadline, when I was busy, and you gave me missing info like I am a mind reader.

Lol... totally feel your pain. It's the same being a in-house vis person. Like there's no professional respect. Almost like we're an after thought.

Vantage is smashing these images! I see know difference in quality - 4K in 3-4 minutes!
