  • Significant Exposure difference between RT and final Rendering

    Hi there,

I´m just playing with the RT Demo and I tried to use it as interactive exposure control.
But I noticed a significant difference in brigthness between the RT window and the final Rendering.
    http://sorceress.netfrag.org/optix/V...difference.jpg
I only used Vray Exposure Controls (Various Color Mapping Methods, Vray Physical Camera)
It happens with with nearly every GI engine (Irr. Map, Lightcache, Prog. Path Tracing)
the only exception ist Brute force, wich comes pretty close probabely because it has
a limited bounce rate. Also no gamma was changed within max or the Vray Frame Buffer
(I tried both Max default and Vray Frame Buffer).
    VrayRT is always much darker.
    I´m on Max2008/Vray1.5sp3a

Not quite sure just from the image; can you get me the scene to vlado@chaosgroup.com and I'll let you know what causes it?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
