      That's a great script!!!

But when I tried it, every 6th frame was left out.
At first, I thought it was because the computer had no chance to save the renderings to disc within 5 seconds. But the same thing happed with a 10 second rendertime setup. :-/

What is your frame rate? The script is written for 30 fps, if you use anything else, it might break (you will need to adjust the "160" number, which is used to get the current frame).

        Best regards,

Aha. I am using 25 fps. So I need to tweak that "160", right?

Ok, I'll try that tomorrow. Thank you Vlado!

The "160" number is calculated by 4800/fps, so if you use 25 fps, it should be 4800/25=192.

                Good Morning.
Has anybody updated or come up with a better solution to rendering test animation with vray RT?

I am have a problem, with "filename not defined"
                Thank you

Are you using the script from the thread or the one that is integrated in V-Ray (Rendering/Make V-Ray RT Animation Preview) ?
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

"Make V-Ray RT Animation Preview" is the improved version of that old script, so use it please. Anyway if you insist on using the old one, make sure your RT is running when you run "rtAnimation()" command.

                        Hi again..........
Another issue, and this may be down to memory.

Am trying render a preview render in RT, as above.
                        At 1280 x 720, and it's hits frame 34 and stops.
I have it set to cpu,as I get a unsupported texture error. as gpu.

                        I have a gtx 470 1.25mb only.
The over all model is quite big, 112 mb, plugins railclone , forest pro, the works.

So I can't do the animation preview , is there a service on line I could use to get the preview out?

This is fixed, so it should be fine in the next SP.
