Moving main installation?

Just switched primary workstations and wondering how to move the main install for RT and 2010. 2009 seems to be installed okay, but with 2010 it will only let me install as a render slave, which is what I originally did on this machine. Is there a gitch in the installer, or is there something I have to do to switch to the workstation install? I tried uninstalling/reinstalling but it did not help.

Did you install V-Ray itself first?

I did not re-install Vray no, but it was on already and renders fine.

Well, the RT installation looks for an installation of V-Ray itself for the corresponding 3ds Max version. If it doesn't find one, it will only show the standalone slave option. So for some reason it cannot detect that V-Ray is installed.
